Since I was an adult studies student life was already going full swing for me. How did your experience at Evangel prepare you for life after graduation? I really wanted to be a part of something bigger and try to make a positive impact on people lives. I think this is what lead me on my career path of leadership. I think if you talk to a few of my cohort members they would tell you that we graduated together! I started to really enjoy working with teams. If you missed a class due to a sick child or work, someone would always have notes to share with you. It was great how everyone helped each other out. My cohort was full of working adults that were attending class after working for 40-50 hours at their job. The teamwork of the cohort sessions really showed me the importance of team operations. I would have to say that the learning environment at EU and the set up on the Adult studies program opened my eyes to few things. How did Evangel help you identify/develop your calling? That really helps get me through the busy times.

The teachers really care about your professional development. I made some long lasting friendships in my years at Evangel. I guess if I had to put it down to a few particular things it would have to be the people. What is your favorite memory from Evangel? The company has grown to over 350+ associates. I have responsibility for two locations, one in Joliet IL and the plant in Springfield which is right across the street from Evangel. I have been with NSE (NewStream) for 14 years. We package a wide variety of material from large diesel truck parts to ATM banking equipment. We specialize in packaging, kitting, sub-assembly and distribution. NewStream is a value-added warehouse organization that manages supply chain solutions. Tell us about your career and what you do now.
